Preventing Hijacked Affiliate Commissions:
What we have done to prevent your affiliate commissions from being hijacked.
- New products do not mention our program on the salesletter website.
- Order links on new products do not
contain our Clickbank vendor id. Click
here to
see order link. The order links will look like - http://www.reprint-rights-secrets.com/order.php?p=55 The
customer only sees our internal product id.
- Product specific link urls do not include hot-sellers.net.
Example link: http://www.klikthis.com/go.php?id=xxxxx&p=55
KlikThis.com contains no mention of an affiliate program or hot-sellers.net
- For maximum protection, a redirect
program is
available at no charge so you may hide your Clickbank nickname. A sample
link looks like:
http://www.yourdomain.com/go.php?p=55
This prevents someone from substituting their Clickbank nickname for
yours.
- The above changes are being made to all products.
What this means to you:
- If you choose to, you can hide your Clickbank nickname.
- By promoting a product specific page your customer will not see
any information about an affiliate program.
- Our Clickbank Vendor ID is not displayed anywhere.
Bottom Line: - With these changes there will be no easy way for a person to find out our Clickbank Vendor ID and replace your id with their id.
The only ways they could discover our Vendor ID are:
- by searching on the internet for the product - and discovering this site.
- they were previously aware of this site.
These precautions should prevent all but the most determined of commission
link hijackers.
